Most jurisdictions, Offshore and Onshore, do not impose restrictions on the words used in a company name unless these words imply that the company will be engaged in banking, insurance, trust, or other activities which are 'licensable' in certain jurisdictions (for instance, companies with the words "Finance" or "Investment" must be licensed in some countries), or names which suggest that the company has a connection to the Government or State of its incorporation.
Therefore, in general, the name of an Offshore company may be represented by any combination of words and letters which are not restricted (as described above). However, in virtually all jurisdictions the company name must be written in the Latin alphabet - i.e. VECTOR CORPORATION. Businesspersons who wish to register a company with the name in their own alphabet - i.e. in Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, or Japanese characters, may do this in the jurisdiction of the Seychelles. Corporate law of this jurisdiction permits company names to be written in any language or alphabet.
INTERNATIONAL OVERSEAS SERVICES either has several Readymade companies from SEYCHELLES that may be transferred immediately to the client, or a new company can be registered in Seychelles, with a name chosen by the client, within 3-4 weeks. The registration cost of a Seychelles IBC company, including stamp duties, is US$ 410, and the cost of a full 'Corporate Services Package', inclusive of all duties, first year fees, and Nominee Director service, is US$ 1380
Upon request, INTERNATIONAL OVERSEAS SERVICES can also arrange for registration of a company with a name in another language or alphabet in other, lesser known jurisdictions, where this is also permitted.
